USWNT 2024 Olympic Roster Announced

18 Players to Represent the United States in Paris

CHICAGO, June 26, 2024 - USWNT head coach Emma Hayes has named the 18 players who will represent the United States at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Eight players return from the 2020 Olympic Team: goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher, defenders Becky Sauerbrunn and Tierna Davidson, midfielders Lindsey Horan and Rose Lavelle, and forwards Mallory Pugh, Sophia Smith, and Trinity Rodman.

Ten players make their first Olympic roster, including 24-year-old Naomi Girma, who has earned 30 caps for the USWNT. Smith, Rodman, and Girma are all 24 or younger yet have 30-plus national team appearances.

The USWNT are flying high after their 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup run, winning the competition with a 1-0 win over Canada in the final. The team is now focused on preparing for the Olympics, which will be held from July 26 to August 11 in Paris.

The full roster is as follows:

  • Goalkeepers: Alyssa Naeher, Adrianna Franch
  • Defenders: Becky Sauerbrunn, Tierna Davidson, Naomi Girma, Emily Sonnett, Sofia Huerta
  • Midfielders: Lindsey Horan, Rose Lavelle, Samantha Mewis, Andi Sullivan, Ashley Sanchez
  • Forwards: Mallory Pugh, Sophia Smith, Trinity Rodman, Alex Morgan, Catarina Macario
