Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of the rap-rock band Crazy Town, passed away on Monday, June 24, at his Los Angeles home. He was 49 years old.

Born Seth Brooks Binzer on August 23, 1974, Shellshock was best known for his role as frontman of Crazy Town, which rose to fame with their 2000 hit "Butterfly." The song became a global success, propelling the band to international recognition.

The cause of Shellshock's death has not yet been released. Police and paramedics responded to his home on Monday evening, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tributes have been pouring in from fans, friends, and fellow musicians. Crazy Town co-founder DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) took to social media to express his grief, saying, "I'm heartbroken. Seth was my brother and I loved him dearly. He will be missed forever."
