ECI Announces Full Election Schedule

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has unveiled the much-anticipated schedule for the 18th Lok Sabha elections. The nationwide event is slated to take place across seven phases, commencing on April 19, 2024, and culminating on June 1, 2024.

Phase-Wise Polling

The polling schedule is as follows:

• Phase 1: April 19, 2024 (20 states and UTs)
• Phase 2: April 23, 2024 (13 states and UTs)
• Phase 3: April 27, 2024 (15 states and UTs)
• Phase 4: May 1, 2024 (12 states and UTs)
• Phase 5: May 6, 2024 (11 states and UTs)
• Phase 6: May 10, 2024 (9 states and UTs)
• Phase 7: May 14, 2024 (7 states and UTs)

Counting of Votes

The counting of votes will take place on June 1, 2024, and the results will be declared shortly after.
