Chris Paul's Return To Phoenix Cut Short
Warriors Guard Injured In Loss To Suns
Chris Paul's return to Phoenix was cut short on Wednesday night as the Warriors guard was injured in the second quarter of Golden State's 134-105 loss to the Suns.
Paul, who played the first six seasons of his career with the Suns, left the game with 8:32 remaining in the second quarter after aggravating a right heel injury. He did not return.
The injury is a tough blow for the Warriors, who are already without Stephen Curry (shoulder) and Draymond Green (back). Paul is averaging 14.6 points and 9.2 assists per game this season.
The Suns, meanwhile, improved to 19-12 with the win. Devin Booker led the way with 34 points, while Deandre Ayton added 24 points and 14 rebounds.
