City Blasts Five Past Luton

Manchester City FC moves to the top of the 2023-24 Premier League table after a convincing 5-1 victory over Luton Town.

The Citizens dominated the match from start to finish, with Raheem Sterling opening the scoring in the first half. Bernardo Silva added a second before half-time, and Ferran Torres made it 3-0 early in the second period.

Luton pulled one back through Harry Cornick, but Gabriel Jesus restored City's three-goal advantage with a fine solo effort. Riyad Mahrez completed the scoring with a late penalty.

The win moves City top of the table, one point ahead of Arsenal. The Gunners have a game in hand, however, and will play Manchester United on Sunday.

City will next be in action on Wednesday when they host Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
